The Blog I Wasn’t Planning to Write

Today wasn’t a good day.

Growth?

Change?

Surviving?

Yeah… all of that went right out the window.

One headache. That’s all it took to send my mental health spiraling.

Why?

Because that’s how mental health works sometimes - there doesn’t have to be a big reason. Just one small crack in the foundation, and suddenly the whole thing feels like it’s crumbling.

So, I did what I needed to do. I disappeared under my blankets, let the world keep spinning without me, and surrendered to a long nap. Partly to ease the headache. Partly to escape everything else.

This isn’t laziness. This is survival.
This isn’t laziness. This is survival.

And honestly? That’s just the reality of it. Sometimes, to survive our mental health, we have to succumb to it for a while. It’s not pretty. It’s not inspiring. But it’s real. And for many of us, that quiet surrender is part of how we make it to tomorrow.

If you’re in that place too, just know - you’re not weak. You’re human. And even on the hard days, you’re still here. And that, my friend, is something worth honoring.
