Some of my favorite portraits aren’t taken in perfect lighting or traditional settings. They’re taken waist-deep in a stream. In a field of tall grass, wearing wings made of tulle and hope. Or in the rain, with mascara running and laughter spilling out.

 I see uniqueness in every portrait.

Because I don’t just take portraits. I see the magic inside people - the parts they think no one notices. I see softness where they only see flaws. I see wildness where they’ve been told to stay small. And I use my lens to remind them: you are art.
